Ingredients

For each colour you are making:

• ½ cup hair conditioner 

• 1 cup cornflour 

• Food colouring – liquid or gel - in the colours of your choice

Instructions

1. Add the conditioner to a bowl with a few drops of food colouring and mix.

2. Add the cornflour and mix with a spoon to begin with, then knead together with your hands until smooth. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more conditioner. If it’s too wet or sticky, add a little more cornflour.

3. When it’s ready, it should be smooth and easy for little hands to squish.

4. Make a batch for each different colour you want to use. 

5. If you want to make larger batches, remember to use the same ratio – twice as much cornflour as conditioner. 

Cloud dough doesn’t store well, so it’s more of a one-time activity. You can try storing it in cling wrap and in an airtight container, but you may have to add more cornflour and knead it again, as it can feel a little wet once it’s been wrapped. It can also be squished inside a zip lock bag if you prefer.
