You can get them back to looking great without having to make a major investment in new blinds.
Blinds are often forgotten when it comes to cleaning your home. And Roman blinds in particular can be difficult to clean (which could be why they can become a little neglected).
These blinds need a gentle hand when it comes to removing dirt and grime or you might permanently damage the fabric.
- You can vacuum your blinds with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and any lose particles of dirt. You can use a crevice attachment for any folds. Don't forget to vacuum both sides.
- For any stains, you can try spot removal solution. Use with a damp cloth, following the manufacturer's instructions (it is always wise to test for colour fastness first in an area which can't be seen)
If you don't fancy taking the risk, your best solution is to call a professional blinds cleaning service. This will be a fast and stress-free process and they can also make any necessary repairs. You'll get your blinds back looking great and will save the cost of buying new blinds.
